With their entry, people like Chiru can change the trend of politics. The Mega Star of Tollywood has secured a place in the hearts of the people by contributing his mite in the fight against social evils like corruption and bribery, albeit through films like his latest blockbuster `Tagore.’ His off-screen activities of setting up a blood bank and mobilising people to donate their eyes have also won appreciation. Equipped with traits like kindness, generosity and benevolence, he is sure to make a good politician.

Chiranjeevi should have joined politics, as there is not an iota of doubt that Chiranjeevi will win hands down if he contests elections. I am a Chiranjeevi fan. I think politics is not the only way to serve people. Politics is much too complex a phenomenon. A majority of the Indian politicians have very little concern for principles and morals. Abraham Lincoln defined politicians as men who have interests that are different from the interests of the general people. Chiranjeevi should not join politics. If he joins politics, I am sure that he will become the Chief Minister and serve the people well, but most of his time will go waste trying to keep his position. He is `megastar’ in Tollywood. He has to do films for his fans that guide them to be good.

Chiranjeevi is one of the few persons who has a conviction to serve the man-kind. Politics is just a platform to serve the people. So when the Mega-Star is serving the people of Andhra Pradesh with his blood and eye donation camps in such an efficient way, I don’t see any valid reason for Chiranjeevi to enter politics. Today’s politics are full of venom and let us not drag a person with a genuine appetite to serve humanity into that vicious circle. So I prefer that Chiranjeevi should not join politics.

Bedides cine field, politics is the field which people are crazy about. If Chiranjeevi, who is going on with a rapid pace in the industry with his continuous hits and strengthening his place in the hearts of people, joins politics, the entire political scenario changes. In my opinion Chiranjeevi joining the politics is not wise. It is not that easy to do justice to both fields. If he joins the party opposite to which his fans are willing to vote, then it really becomes a big task for them to decide between their favourite star and the political party.
